Varity, the spice of life!
Many times, after doing something over and over you need to shake thing up a little or it will become stale. So here are some of the successful versions we have created that make things more interesting. For the variations listed all standard Drunkball rules apply unless otherwise stated. Three Man Drunkball

How many nights have you been together with friends for a pregaming session and not have the right amount of people to play a drinking game. Well we here at Drunkball.net have solved this problem. Drunkball can now be played with any number of people with slight modifications to the rules. We still believe that the original 4 person is the best way to play but by far our favorite variation is 3 man drunkball.

Requirements: Three people.
Rules: To play this version all three players get their own beer so unlike the original version it is every person for themselves. Two of the cans are placed at one end of the table touching and the other is placed at the other end. One player throws first (player A). If he or she hits the other two cans then they (player A) starts drinking from their own can. Mean while players B and C at the other end of the table work together to bring the ball back to the table and say stop. Players then rotate so that player A takes player B position. Player B is then on offence and will throw at players A and C's cans. This three way rotation continues till one player is finished with their can. They are declared the winner and the two remaining players battle for 2nd. The fun part of this variation is that there are still no defensive time outs. Mud Drunkball

Feeling dirty? Mud Drunkball will get you there. The rules of Mud Drunkball accomplish one thing (besides the obvious one of getting you drunk) they get you muddy.

Requirements: Water, a mud pit to play in, and the standard Drunkball materials.
Rules: To play mud Drunkball the defense is not allowed to take more then one step to retrieve the ball. If the defense needs to take a second step to reach the ball then they must dive into the mud before they are allowed to take another step. The most fun way to enforce this rule is to have the offence tackle the defender who took the second step. Inevitably this game will turn into mud wrestling because it is far faster and more fun to just take the second step and get tackled by your opponents!


Squirt Gun Drunkball

Scorching hot summer day slowing you down? Need a beer? Then Squirt gun Drunkball is for you!

Requirements: One water gun per person(preferably ones with a kick) and the standard Drunkball materials.
Rules: Each player starts with a fully loaded squirt gun and must play the entire game with it in hand. You are allowed to squirt your opponents or the ball at any time however, you may only refill your gun once a can is finished. So use your ammo wisely.


Pool Side Drunkball

Ready to get wet?

Requirements: A pool and the standard Drunball materials.
Rules: The objective of Pool Side Drunkball (other than drinking) is to get the defenders to jump into the pool. Place the table less than a foot away from the pool so that the defender closest to the pool can not stand to the side of the table but rather must stand behind it. Play drunkball as normal except the defender on the pool side is not allowed to place any part of their body past the plane of the table. This causes the ball to go into the pool much more often. Once the ball goes into the pool the defenders must jump in to get it. After that defender retrieves the ball they must switch with the other defender so the next time the ball ends up in the pool the other person jumps in.


Drunkball: The Spectators Drinking Game

Watching can be as much fun as playing!

Requirements: Players must be watching a game of Drunkball and must have plenty of side beer
Rules: The players watching a game of Drunkball must all choose a team. If the team that you picked hits the cans then you must also drink. Warning this will get everyone in the room drunk VERY quickly but thats how we like to do thing here at Drunkball.net.


Beer Pong

This strange and unorthodox version of Drunkball is played at almost every college campus. We beleive it to be a footnote in history.

Requirements: The standard Drunball materials plus cups... who uses cups!
Rules: Players must throw the ball INTO the cups placed in a triangle. Who are we kidding... beerpong is much more well known than Drunkball but just wait till its popularity grows!
